On Friday, December 10, the Hope-Harveys rock band, along with Mike Shanley and Aimee DeFoe of the Mofones and other friends, will re-enact the well-loved muppet holiday musical, "Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas," live on stage at the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern. The band will play with authentic "jug band" instrumentation – cigar box banjo, kazoo, washtub bass, washboard, and jug – and perform your favorite songs from the Paul Williams penned musical: "Barbecue", "In Our World", "Grandma's Bathing Suit", "Brothers", and of course, "Riverbottom Nightmare Band". Additionally, the pageant will include the musical's small-town talent show atmosphere by having an open stage for performers.
