Enrique Metinides, one of Mexico’s most celebrated photojounalists, is best known for his 1950’s car crash photographs. This exhibition, Maimed in Mexico: The Early Car Crash Photographs of Enrque Metinides, examines the artist’s black and white photographic work, which captures the dark side of life (and death) in Mexico City from the 1950’s to early 1960’s.
